FCPS Parents for Intentional Technology (PIT) was formed by parents and teachers who are concerened about the increased use of Educational Technology tools in FCPS classrooms. Since it's formation, PIT members have been advocating for change in many ways. From talking to community members to speaking at school board meetings, change happens when we come together. Every action whether small or big, makes a difference.

Connect with your school’s teachers and administrators to advocate for more intentional Educational Technology use. Learn how to opt out of programs and apps commonly used in FCPS classrooms, and connect with like-minded parents and advocates in your community.
Learn how to make changes at your school and in your community!
Make your voice heard at the FCPS School Board. Speak at a Board meeting, connect with your School Board representative, and sign current petitions to show that parents and teachers are ready for meaningful change and accountability.
State-level change may seem daunting, but it starts with numbers. When advocates come together, our collective voice can make a difference. Learn how to make your voice heard and connect with other advocacy groups to create change in Virginia.
